12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of citrusy tangerine upfront, with bitter piney hops. Flavour is very juicy, with lots of fresh tangerine, citrus hops, and bitter citrus rind on the finish. Juicy and very quaffable. Very solid.

Some bodega: pours light orange with white head. Aroma is tangerine and other tropical fruit. Not nearly as bitter as most of the stuff that comes out of this brewery. Slightly dirty aftertaste. Not bad but I was not excited by it.

Keg at Mellow Mushroom Charlottesville and a later bottled sample at Beer Run. Pale orange amber, medium creamy off-white head. Good retention. Aroma of orange creamsicle and pale malt. The taste is tangerine, pith, pale malt, hints of pine. Medium bodied, clean.

Yeasty tangerine nose. Hazy orange, firm and sticky medium yellow head. Tangerine and grapefruit, hop dominated with daffodil highlights and and actual subtle malt presence that I didn’t expect. Not really all that well balanced, but not one note at all. Medium body, resinous, soft carbonation. Some really nice things are happening in this beer, but it’s a little disjointed. Very well hopped, very fruity.

Sampled on draft at the rivertowne pub this beer poured a murky orange-tan color with a large fluffy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar and tart tangerine. The flavor was tart tangerine, a bit chalky and perfumey. Long finish. Medium body.

12 oz. bottle shared by a friend. It is an almost dirty amber orange color. Aroma abundant amounts of tangerine, orange, and grapefruit.
The flavor has way more bitterness then I would have guessed with the huge fruit aroma. When I read the label of this I Thought, “Wow, this sounds awesome!” In reality the flavor isn’t cohesive. It was to be sweet at first with the enormous amount of tangerine and grapefruit peel (what tastes like grapefruit) give an overly astringent bitterness. If I want to make a IPA Mimosa, I will get a fresh can of Heady Topper and make my own. This is drinkable but I will not revisit.

On draft at lost dog in McLean. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of tangerine and bitter citrus peels. Bitter finish.

Great citrus and lots of tangerine. Some peel. Pours hazy golden with good head and lacing. Citrusy sour finish. Great balance, and great IPA. Bitter finish. Bottle shared at tasting.

Bottle at the nuplastikk returns tasting in VA. Hazy golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of orange, lime. Tastes of orange, lime, citrus, floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish.
