12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 7/12/2016. Pours hazy deep golden yellow color with a 1 finger foamy white head with poor retention, that reduces to a minimal spotty cap. Minimal lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of passion fruit, pineapple, peach, guava, mango, berry, lemon, lime, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, light pepper/clove, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of passion fruit, pale malt, and light-moderate fruity/spicy yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of big passion fruit, pineapple, peach, guava, mango, berry, lemon, lime, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, light pepper/clove, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruit tartness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of passion fruit, pineapple, peach, guava, mango, berry, lemon, lime, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, pepper, clove, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of passion fruit, pale malt, and light-moderate fruity/spicy yeast ester flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, fairly creamy/bready, and lightly sticky/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Light-medium dryness from fruit acidity and yeast spice as well. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a very good fruited Belgian wheat ale style. All around good robustness and balance of passion fruit, pale malt, and light-moderate fruity/spicy yeast ester flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

On tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma is full of sweet passion fruit that has a slight tart bite. Flavor starts full of slightly tar passion fruit that grows in sweetness and has a hint of flora and wine barrel.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan body. Not much of a head. Pretty solid offering in the sea of fruit beers dropping in 2016. Easy going, medium bodied. Solid passionfruit puree tones, suppose some tea as well. I could drink a lot of this.

Pour is a hazy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is a odd fruitiness which I guess is passion fruit. I don’t think I’ve ever had a passion fruit so I don’t really know what they taste like. Flavor is that odd citrus fruit with a decent tartness. This does not taste like your typical artificial flavored fruit wheat beer. The passion fruit tastes real and fresh, but odd. A decent refresher that makes me want summer t get here soon.

Draft 12 Oz pour at Toronado, Seattle. Pours a cloudy golden color with a ton of foam head and lace. Spice and tropical fruit dominated aroma. High carb, sweet peach, mango, and trial fruit favor. More sweet than sour for sure. Prefect mix of the two though. Smooth fruit flavor with a juicy finish. Excellent. UPDATE: Retry month 2017. Bottle this time. Juicy tart fruit aroma and flavor. Fading tart, leading to a wheat solo finish. Pleasant beer for sure. Good stuff.

Bottle split at City Beer, SF, 28/01/16. Hazed golden orange with no head. Nose is pissy fruit flesh, floral notes, mango, passionfruit. Taste comprises zingy citrics, passionfruit, melon, toasted bread, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with zingy citric licks. Ok. Not easy to determine a style for this but fruit beer is a cop out !!!

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Hazy orange, medium sized foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of strong brett, passion fruit, prickly pear, pale malt, spice. The taste is passion fruit, guava, spice, pale malt, mild brett. Medium bodied, low carbonation, slick, refreshing. Very nice. I wish I’d bought a six pack!
