Can at home picked up from Sainsbury's. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is tangy orange rind, wet grass, tangy , some dirty pine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bready grains, stale bread, spicy citrus, pine, some hot alcohol, fairly cheap tasting, Palate is semi sweet, light tangy, moderate carbonation. Some alcohol bite in the finish.

Can from Sainsbury’s. Clear golden body with a thick white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine, furniture polish and menthol. Flavour of pine and pot puri. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Very piney and resinous. A random guy in the supermarket warned me that this was too piney and I can see his point. I think it’s pretty good overall.

568ml can from Asda. Clear gold with moderate sized white head. Aroma of pine, orange, stone fruits, light flora. Taste is very piney and peppery with a decent bitter kick. There are some grapefruit, stone fruit and aniseed notes. Medium bodied. Not a stand out but its decent.

Big can. Malt pine citrus. Intensely bland. A few of their newer beers are going off the boil.

I might have to look beyond this one for something better. Mild fruit nose, biscuity watery-sugary taste, but not too many great features here, perhaps its texture is best enjoyed in this one.
