Aromas are herbal, malt, race and a bit of spice. Flavors are similar to nose with great balance between bitter, sweet, and carbonation. One of the best race beers I've had. Wonder what it would be like as an all malt pale lager or pilsner.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a large white head. Aroma is light citrus/spice supported by pale malt. Med body. Flavor suggests some English ales. However, there is a lot of grass/spice and notes of resin. Finally it becomes rather like a Czech ale. Very nice flavor.

On tap at Holy Mountain - Phinney, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma has a nice spicy Saaz kick upfront, light grassiness, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour tastes more like a Czech pils than a rice lager courtesy of the Saaz, revealing a real nice spicy hop kick upfront, light grassy bite, and a crisp crackery malt base. Crisp, spicy hop bite on the finish. A great Saaz bomb.

On tap at Holy Mountain - Phinney Ridge. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Nice hit of spicy, grassy Saaz on the nose. Flavour has tons of spicy dry grass, good body, and a sharp bitter bite in the finish. Great Saaz-laden lager.
