Can sample at The Amazing Canival. Clear deep golden amber color. Aroma of floral spice. Taste is light spice, light fruit, light bitterness. Interesting.

From a big pounder can at room temp. Precipitants floating around in this otherwise clear brown orange liquid. Candy hop aroma greets the olfactory. Those things floating in there are so interesting to watch. The alky content seems like much more than 5%. Strong dull ipa rye blast. Definitely unfiltered east coast BS even tho it’s clear, must be clear from racking in the bottle one a shelf. Not impressed by the freakingly on style ipa rye beer.

Sample at the Inventory Reduction Beer Tasting on 08/08/2015. Pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, rye and hops. Light to medium body with flavors of spiced hops, citrus and rye malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

16 ounce can from Beer Study, 4/1/15. Clear dark amber, medium sized fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of strong rye, caramel, coffee, earthy notes. That was un-expected. The taste is bitter, strong rye, citrus, coffee, caramel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Solid beer, a little different, nice surprise.
