Espina is an expressive fruit saison with prickly pear and pomegranate, which perfectly balances the sweetness of the fruits and the characteristic dryness of the saison yeast.
At 8% alcohol, Espina is an aromatic and complex beer, with a soft and delicate fruity acidity, culminating in a dry, refreshing finish.
Espina means thorn – and this beer is a hymn to the thorns that lead to pleasure.
A collaboration brew among Retimi Craft Beer and Alea Brewing Co. that took place in Rethymno, cellebrating a special bond!

0,75 l bottle from Antika Irish Pub, Rethymno. BB 10.06.2030. Cloudy darker golden in the glass, short fast fading head. Pale malt on the nose, pale fruity with some sourness. Taste starts with a suprising dry with bitterness, pale malt, mid fruity sourness. Very low to zero carbonation. Interesting stuff.
