In the Philippines, the Bicolano people tell of the lunar goddess Haliya, known for her beauty and fierce warrior nature. She hides her elegance behind a golden mask. When the sea-goddess, Bakunawa, took the form of a moon-eating dragon, Haliya engaged her in battle. Gugurang, the supreme deity, witnessed their fighting and trapped Bakunawa in her dragon form as pinishment.

Hazy, bright violet black colour with a small white head; aroma of coconut; somewhat smooth palate; balanced flavor with a short lasting, light sweet and tart finish and starchy aftertaste

Head is thin, tan, quick gone. Colour is violet black, opaque. Aroma moustly coconuts, caramel, cookies. Taste is medium malty base, coconut, dark dried fruits, coconut, decent bitterness, berries, medium carbonation, very good, enjoyed for sure.

Can at BeerDock tasting. Strong toasted coconut aroma. Taste of toasted coconut, vanilla, roastyness, nutty notes, medium bitter. Medium body, malty coconut roasty bitter finish. Ok.

0.473l can from Beer Republic. Aroma of berries, toasted coconut, vanilla and biscuit. Pours clear indigo color with thin quickly diminishing light violet head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with mild coconut, sweet potato and biscuit, following is mild fruity and malty, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Holy potato… Smells nice, you have to look twice, but tastes almost like rice…
