(On tap at the DDC tap takeover @ barVolo, Aug 23 2014) Pours very hazy gold with no head. Aroma powerfully acetic, cider vinegar with hints of orange zest and raw wheat. Palate also acetic and dominated by cider vinegar with supporting grapefruit and pear. No real yeast or grain character, just a light funk with more sour apple on the finish. Moderate mouthfeel with light prickly carb. Not much too complexity which allows the acetic acid to overwhelm a bit. I was expecting this to be more lactic but maybe my nose was off! Still a pretty good sour but didn’t blow my mind.

Deep golden color. Almost no head, very flat, funky sour nose with notes of cat pee, lemon. Lemon, oak, musty, mildly tart, very low carbonation, very low hops, slight burnt character in the finish. Very dry. Lingering oaky finish. Nice, but needs more carbonation. Enjoyable

A golden ale with a thick white head. In aroma, a nice sour cherry mix with epsom salts and berries, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sour ale with cork, cherries, acetic acid, nice and smooth. On tap at La Cuvée, March 3 2013.

750mL bottle at the Dieu du Ciel 14th anniversary party, split with Glouglouburp. Pours a hazy yellow with a small ring of white head. Aroma is tart and wheaty, with a lemon tang, lots of wheat and some white grapes. Flavour is very dry and quite tart, with dry white wine, wheat, some wild yeasts and a very subtle tartness. Quite complex and refreshingly tart. Excellent stuff.
