Keg at the brewpub. Hazy very dark red, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of mild smoke, barbecue flavored potato chips. The taste is smoke, caramel, bitter earth, mild tart cherry. Thin bodied. The smokiness is there but way too tame.

Draft at the source. Dark clear maroon color, tan head. Aroma of burnt caramel and light campfire. Taste of toast and burnt caramel. Tasty.
