TENERE (Ténéré) means desert in Berber language and guess who we call to brew this beer ? No other than our beloved brother Amine from Maktoob Brewing ! Using the best side of this style we wanted to make it bitter and fruity, clean and drinkable, leaving a dry and crisp finish. Simcoe is taking the lead to make it bitter, piney, Idaho7 and Nectaron will give the modern kick with fruity notes, guava, stone fruit and citrus. This “westcoastish” IPA is a classic west coast IPA with a modern kick !

Whitish head, fast reduced to rim over veiled golden beer. Asafoetida, other grains (spelt?), velvet leaves, bit oppressive. Other grains returning, just short of sweet. Some citruspeel, cucumber, wafts of exotic fruit (papaya, starfruit, guave,...) Feels light for its ABV. Medium carbonation, restrained slickness. Average.
