This Dark Mexican Lager has some Austrian heritage. Austrian Archduke Maximilian I was Emperor of Mexico from 1864 to 1867, he brought the Vienna Lager with him. From there it turned into the Dark Mexican Lager with adjuncts of Corn for a sweeter and smoother flavor.

Tap at Foxtown. Caramel brown body, filtered. Nice aroma. A lot more malt depth, quality character than some more mainstream examples. Toasty caramel, light chocolate, but not sticky or thick. Solid stuff
