Masses of grapefruit and lemon citrus from the Cascade late hop with herbal dry hop background from the copper hops. Sweetness and body comes from the pale and crystal malts and the black malt adds enough dryness and astringency to keep the beer refreshing. MALT: Pale, Crystal, Black. Amber ish pour with a bubbly head that fast vanish. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Light body and a bit soft carbonation level. Caramel malty, fruity and herbal flavor. They claim this one have a massive grapefruit impact……bad santa……1. April? Dull and boring.

Cask draft at the Angelsea Arms. A bit more red and hoppy than the average bitter, bordering on an amber ale. Sharper and hoppier, some savory zest as well. The normal caramel notes were muted by the extra hops.

Cask @ Firehouse, Sowerby Bridge. Clear dark amber-redwith a thin head. Has a thinnish tasting winter berry fruitiness with a bushy-floral character.
