Our newest addition to the Public Lands campaign, REP: Roadless Rule, highlights the ongoing threat to the Roadless Rule and the risk of losing protections for some of our favorite places to hike, fish, hunt, and yes—drink beer. With this release, we aim to shine a light on the countless acres of Arizona’s wild, roadless landscapes that deserve to stay that way.

This year’s Fresh Hop release from our little Phoenix system leans into a clean West Coast IPA canvas, with a softer water profile to let the hops shine. Built entirely around Chinook from our friends at @billygoathopfarms, we packed in over 30 lbs/bbl of fresh cones, delivered overnight from Montrose, CO. The result is vibrant with grapefruit and pine resin, layered with classic citrus bitterness and a touch of tropical fruit from a full Billy Goat Chinook dry hop.

Pint can pours with a clear pure gold colored body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up tangelo, clementine, a bit of pear and then a sliver of sweet malts in the background. The taste delivers orange juice to orange zest to clementine like citrus hop goodness that packs both hop bitterness and hop flavour. To midway faint echoes of tropical fruitiness are noticed drowning in a pool of citrus hop goodness. In the background a sliver of sweet malts is noticed too. Pretty solid.
