Rooted in the German Oktoberfest tradition, the use of dark and light Munich malts lends some color and heft of malt character but remains light and drinkable. Our Festy is fermented cold and slow with our Philadelphia yeast strain, then aged for weeks on end at freezing temperatures in our horizontal lagering tanks. Brewed to be enjoyed in abundance, through the change of seasons.

Draught at Lost Time: pours light amber with white head. Aroma is light caramel, some pleasant breadiness, light floral hops. Taste is sort of sweet, a little bitter. Sort of between one of the old school, malty-heavy US Oktoberfests and the lighter Festbiers that are becoming more prevalent lately.
