Barrel-Aged Tripel. A blend of barrel-aged golden strong ales. The name translates to “Trunk of Oak,” a nod to Brasserie De la Senne’s tripel Jambe de Bois (“Wooden Leg”). Expect big notes of overripe fruit, chardonnay, and orange wine, with a light, balanced acidity. 9.8% abv

Draught at source: pours copper with white head. Aroma is slightly funked and woody. Spicy, woody. Barrel treatment really changes the base beer.
