Mimicking the creamy mouthfeel of a classic milkshake, this tasty DIPA was brewed with vanilla beans and lactose, then conditioned mountains of blueberries. It tastes like blueberry muffins, sweet cream ice cream, and having dessert for dinner!

Can to tulip.
Appearance: copper color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off adequately to leave some light lace
Aroma: blueberry sweet and tart whiffs, light sweet cream/lactose with some clean malts
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a sweet creamy blueberry quality; finishes like creamy sweet blueberries
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under; somewhat sessionable; some smoothness with some creaminess
Overall: since I'm a fan of blueberries I wanted to try this but I'm not exactly a fan of milkshake IPA's so I guess this was a toss up of going after but the thing is - this seemed more like a blueberry flavored ale with sweet cream in it, I wonder if the brewer said this is a fruit beer with cream in that the reviewing would be different for this beer? There I go overthinking things again. Move on, Adam, move on.
