On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is yeast, clove, pepper. Medium body, dry, similar flavors to nose, light dry finish, good.

Pour at State of Origin 2018. Tart sourdough bread aromas with lemon and lots of bready, earthy malt. Big earthy notes on the palate, with a sourdough bread edge and again, some lemon acidity. A little grainy on the palate with a lingering earthy tartness.

On tap at the brewery. Slightly hazy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Slightly funky, mild tropical fruit, light bubblegum, and grassy hops. Refreshing flavor. Mild bubblegum/candy, slightly funky, lemon, herbal/grassy flavor. Pretty good.

Non Beer Trip Beer Trip Beer #1. Keg at the brewery. Slightly hazy golden, medium creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of bread, spice, yeast, tannic fruit. The taste is bready malt, yeast, spice, dry grape and lemon peel. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mild lingering spice.

Bottle. Chillhazy golden yellow color, fluffy white head with good retention and solid lacing. Funky, dusty, tannic aroma. Taste is peppery, dusty overripe almost rotten lemons and earth. A bit messy but still very tasty.

Sample at the taproom as part of Ohio Brew Week. Slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, mildly funky yeast and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, funky citrus, malt and a touch of hops. The finish is fruity with a spicy yeast aftertaste. Pretty good first beer from this brewery.
