A thick, full-bodied Imperial Stout aged for 12 months in barrels that previously held American maple syrup. These exceptional barrels were first used to age bourbon and then filled with rich maple syrup, a combination that infused the beer with deep notes of vanilla, sweet syrup, molasses, dark fruits and warming spices. This time it is a pure barrel-aged stout, with no adjuncts, only the raw character of the beer and the barrel.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of deep bourbon barrel, maple syrup, dark sugars, and light roast. Flavour is very rich and yet not brutal or sweet, with deep maple syrupy-drenched bourbon, dark sugars, and gentle roast. Wonderful barrel and maple character with solid malt foundation. Excellent.
