[Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout]
[Coconut | Hazelnut | Cacao]
It wouldn't be a birthday release without a big, dumb stout, and Simple Riches is exactly that. This 12.2% Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Pastry Stout is the last beer in our birthday lineup, and it's a fitting finale.
This rich stout spent just under two years maturing in ex-bourbon barrels, developing layers of complexity. After being decanted, we loaded it up with over 60g/L of coconut, 20g/L of toasted hazelnut, and 10g/L of cacao nibs. The result is a thick, decadent beer with smooth, roasty notes of chocolate, coconut, and hazelnut.
As always, we skipped the lactose, letting the natural richness of the ingredients shine. Don't miss your chance to try this one. It's the perfect beer to close out our birthday celebrations.

From a 440ml can on 17/10/2025 (shared with Butz). Pours a deepest brown with a small deep tan head. The nose is huge with masses of choc coconut and strong bourbon notes. It super rich and decadent on the sip - chocolate, hazelnut and coconut in spades, with a warming splash of bourbon. It's very dessertish, but has a strong roasty bite at the back that provides teh necessary balance. The palate is amazing, so silky, thick and syrupy, with the carbonation soft. Wow. This is incredible.
