Behold Bock 1000! For our 1000th brew we decided to brew a doppelbock. This rich delicious lager is a deep ruby color with a creamy head. Doppelbock were brewed by monks in the days of yore to sustain them during lent, acting as a liquid bread for them while they fasted. We think those monks would want to celebrate our 1000th brew by kicking back with a Bock 1000.

Draft at Churchkey. Clear dark brown color, massive tan head that collapses slowly. Aroma of cocoa powder and burnt brownie edges. Taste is sweet lightly boozy toasted caramel. Delicious.
