Can courtesy of Baz, cheers Baz!. I added this to the beer calendar that I curated for Loz and this was the Day 7 beer however not consumed until day 12 as we shared this Friday 12th December 2025, cooking Thomasina Miers Picadillo (Mexican Chile) however this is for other meals, we were actually having Dishoom Masala Prawns and another curry of Masala Chicken with Pulau Rice and Poppadoms and Raita, however the poppadoms filled us up 🤣. 🎧 to Afrodeutscha on 6Music. Pours pitch black, inky black, there was a head but it disappeared rapidly. Nice aroma, toffee, peanut brittle but a touch artificial, I like it but it's not quite right. Taste is hugely sweet, it's a great beer but wow unbelievably sweet, thickness in the mouth, huge toffee and caramel. I've got to give it a good score because it's a good beer, but, it's unreal....too sweet. Score 7.0

Vault City Evening At Home Trio - Beer 3 of 3. As soon as I poured this black beer the aroma of nut filled the immediate area around the brew. It's a little more sweet in taste, but not unexpected given the amount of alcohol in here. It's only a little bit boozy though, with its toffee most notable for me in its aftertaste. Sticky texture.

330ml can from Tesco Extra in Chesterfield - Jet black, small tan bubbles on top, soon gone. Everything as it says, toffee, coffee, nuts, milky vanilla, and a boozy burn. Sweet, and like most of these Vault City Impys, easily underestimated with the ABV. Would be simple to guzzle a few of these and regret it very quickly.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is sweet toffee and hazelnut praline with a little coffee. Taste has toffee and coffee to start with more coffee and hazelnut praline on the finish.

Can. Nose is toffee, toffee ice cream, vanilla, syrup. Taste is toffee, cola, brown sugar, cream, hint of thin coffee. Thick mouthfeel.
Overly sweet and sticky. Unpleasent.
