Tasting Notes
Pour a glass of this inky crusher, and campfire nuances will waft out to greet you. On the sip, layered notes of toasted pumpernickel bread, espresso, and bittersweet baking cocoa collide with a subtle smokiness that lingers into the crisp, clean finish.

473mL can. Pours nearly black with a beige head. Dry toasted bread and woody smoke on the nose. Flavour has bread crusts, a gentle roast, subtle wood smoke, and crisp dry grass. I really liked the nose, the flavour was a bit tame, but it was very nice once it came to temperature a bit.

16 ounce can from Tavour. A Brewver Top 50 in the Smoked/Rauchbier category. Translucent dark brown pour. Large rocky tan head. Roasted malt aroma has a hint of smokiness. First sip brings dark roasty notes. Hints of chocolate and smoked malt, as well. Smooth and flavorful. The smokiness is evident, yet subdued. Tasty.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a large creamy tan head. Aroma of smoke and dark bread. Med body. Malty, but just slightly sweet. Good deal of smoke. Flavor of dark bread - more pumpernickel than rye. Very nice.
