Tasting Notes
The end result is absolutely stunning. Layered notes of malt-driven caramel and toasted bread crusts course throughout. A delicate and herbaceous hop character adds to the deliciousness before giving way to a crisp and refreshing finish.

Aromas are malt, toast, dark bread and toffee. Flavors are similar to nose And to me, closer to a traditional Oktoberfest then the stuff going on now. This is good.

Can from Tavour. Pours very dark amber with a large but transient beige head. Aroma of amber malt, corn and a slight grass/spice. Med body. Flavor is pretty much the aroma. Malty/corny but fairly unsweet. Nicely bitter for balance. The light grass/spice is nice. Good drink.

Poured from the tap. Clear light amber gold with small white head. Toasted malt, slight breadiness, decent.

16 oz. can from Chuck's Greenwood, pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Nose brings out lots of toasted bready malt and a touch of toasted nuts. Flavour is rather bold for the style, with plenty of bready malt and toasted nuts, with just enough hops. Clean and vibrant; certainly more flavourful than 99% of amber lagers out there. Impressive.
