Keg at the brewpub, 7/13/16. Dark brown. Aroma of roasted malts, leather, green hops. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, leather. Medium bodied, low carbonation, chewy.

Good roast and some raw grain Definitely the best of their beers so far. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Some caramel. Bitter toasty finish. Tap at brewery.

Tobacco and tar nose. Opaque black, thin tan head. Charcoal, coffee, tobacco. Medium body, dry, chalky. More like an irish stout, but enjoyable.

4-5 oz pour on draft at Mustang Sally with a singing DCLawyer. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, cocoa, light licorice. Tastes of dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, light roast. Medium body with a dry finish. Nice.
