Gratitude is our iteration of a robust porter. It is also a tool to be used to positively engage with the world around you. When you enjoy this beer, please consider the words of Lao Tzu:
"When you realize there is nothing lacking, the world belongs to you..."
We are grateful for the opportunity to share our perspective, and this beer, with you.

Poured from a can into a snifter glass
Pours a deep brown black with a finger of foamy tan head that settles to a tight ring leaving some sticky lacing
Aromas of rich sweet to burnt caramel, roast coffee, dark cocoa hints at a smokiness.
Taste is less sweet than anticipated, roasted malt, caramel coffee and rich dark chocolate.
Super smooth mouth feel, medium body with a medium light carbonation, an excellent sipper that is rich without being cloying.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: black in color with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: big bold coffee roastiness; some dark chocolate; some milk chocolate; light touch of vanilla at the end
Flavor: roasty and sweet running into each other very nicely; mild aftertaste of dark chocolate and coffee roastiness
Texture: medium to full bodied; decent sipper; finishes robust and semi-dry on the tongue
Overall: a very nice "robust porter" I would have again.

Can from the Packie.
Pours a dark brown bordering on black with a frothy tan head that slowly dissipates. Rich roasty chocolate notes with bits of earth and a hint of smoke to counter. Light sweet sticky mouthfeel hints of licorice.
