This brew is a play on California Common made with Alberta malt to make an "Alberta Common". Made with a lager yeast at a warmer fermentation temperature. Nice malt backbone with good hop support.

473ml can. Pours a hazy amber red with a small, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of toasted caramel malt, orange and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, caramel, grapefruit, earth and piney hops in a crisp, dry, bitter finish. Light to medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Well balanced and enjoyable.
