Sampled at Billies, day 2. Brown to black color, no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a tad sweetish, distant prunes in there? Figs maybe? Hmm not bad at all. 8-7,5-7,5-8-7,5

330ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with no head. Aroma is meaty raisin, a little liquroice and festive spice. Taste has meaty chocolate to start, with a raisin finish.

Appearance - black and opaque with a thin beige head.
Nose - sweet chocolate and some raisin. Molasses and still slightly savoury.
Taste - prunes, raisins and going into dark chocolate at the back only.
Palate - medium to full bodied and sweet with gentle drying on the finish.
Overall - lovely stuff.

Bottle thanks to McCash. Pours still near-black. Aromas of chocolate and light spice. Taste is dark fruit, raisin, chocolate. Light spice again. Clean finish.
