Our version of this German style tart wheat ale (pronounced “gose-uh”) is brewed with Hawaiian Black Lava Salt and freshly crushed coriander. Enjoy one or three while waiting for the train at Porter Crossing to go by.

Can thanks to William. Pours a orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is sea salt, floral, wheat. Slick body, lemon, sea salt, wheat, light tartness, good.

Keg at The Tosa Tavern (Whole Foods). Woohoo Tennessee ticks in Wisconsin! Hazy orange, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of salt, lime, perfume, dandelion, pale malt. Taste is lime, earth, guava, pale malt, mild salt. Medium bodied, strong flavor.

On tap at Southern Grist, pours an opaque milky cloudy peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lactose, lactic notes, and pithy stone fruits. Flavour is very fruity, with light salt, light lactic notes and stone fruity pith. Very milky and pithy, with a yeasty palate. I guess this is a NE-gose, whatever that is. Not really true to style, but it's pleasant for what it is.

Draft at the source. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Tart lemon and lime on the nose. Light grain, good tartness. Clean and crisp. Light yogurt, lemon. Nice straightforward, modern take on a gose.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy dull yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a decent amount of sweet wheat and hints of lemon and salt backing. Flavor has sweet wheat and lemon with salt and yogurt underlying.

Lots of lime and some salt like the air by the sea. Hazy yellow pour without much head or lacing. Tangy and sour finish. Tap at brewpub.
