Mad Honey is a Robust Porter brewed with local Wild Flower Honey from Stonewall Apiary in Baltic, CT. The base beer is a scaled up English Porter mashed with specialty dark malt, chocolate malt, honey malt, and honey malted oats. The result is a dark treat that is dry in nature but full of chocolate notes and left with a florally sweetness driven by the honey. Reminiscent of liquid chocolate covered graham crackers.

Can (4/1/25) from Steve. Opaque, dark brown with light sparkle, light viscosity, thin head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong sweet, roasty malt, molasses, chocolate, honey. Taste is an exact mirror of aroma. Smooth, thick texture, full bodied, soft carbonation and rich finish as taste. Wow! This is rich, thick and full of flavor.
