Bottle from the Mikkeller Christmas Calendar. Dark brown with small light beige head. Strong, malty aroma with spice and some dried fruit. Flavour has spice, dark sugar and yeast with late, light alcohol kick. Nicely balanced.

Flavor is light sweet, malty, caramel, bread, spice, dark fruit, little alcohol. Medium body, soft carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 051115

Kochsgade Friday afternoon tasting in November. Dark red brown with a lasting tan head. Aroma of caramel, dried fruit, spices (cardemum?) and chocolate. Very sweet fruity and spiced flavour with caramel, chocolate, dark sugar. A little alcoholic. Feels sweeter than previous years

Bottle @ Orla, Bickle and Dolle goes bananaz. Pours Dark Brown with a creamy head. Caramel, bread, nuts, Dark fruit and sugars. A whiff of alcohol. Smooth and full bodied. Very sweet.

Draft. A dark red-brown beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, over ripe fruits, alcohol, and prunes, leading to a dry finish. Will probably age fantastically.
