brown amber appearance from a plastic growler thing. smoke and wood on the aroma. this taste is just a smokey mess. ash, ham, smoked, not really any coffee.

Bottle - Light smoke and toffee. Deep dark brown with a small white head. Toffee and a touch of smoke.

Bottle at RBSG 2016. Big & black with a nice head. Overwhelming coffee aroma. Flavor is the same. There is so much coffee in this I don’t even detect any alky. Towards the end I get some horse in there, interesting. Easy going without any of the ill effects so common in coffee beers today. Nice.

Draft at the source. Opaque dark brown color, tan head. Aroma has coffee, toasted brownies. Taste has a light smoulder, coffee, dry finish. Very tasty.

Growler. Pours dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong roast and spice. Medium body, roast coffee, bitter finish, good.
