A Belgian-style ale brewed in the tradition of Trappist Monks, this dubbel focuses on complex malt characteristics accented with dried fruit flavors like raisins and plums. There is a subtle English hop bitterness to balance the malt sweetness. The finish is purposefully dry and clean, with no cloying sweetness, and a little bit of alcoholic warmth.

Pretty good for an abbey dubbel. Amber pour without much head or lacing. Prune and candied raisin like hiker snacks. A bit of florals. Light sweet finish. Tap.
