This Belgian-style Kriek was wild-fermented in Hugarian ex-red wine casks before extended aging on a blend of Rainier and Montmorency cherries. Fresh Belgian-style dark strong ale was blended in before packaging to round out the mouthfeel and body. Cherry laced flavours of dates, figs, and molasses are balanced by bright acidity and an off-dry finish.

Poured from 500mL bottle at Papa's with Jamie, transported from Prince Rupert via Vancouver. Dark brown with dissipating beige head. Tart acetic Flanders quality with mild cherries, very feint vinous note. Quite balanced, not too acidic. Comes together nicely.
