Black with a large foamy tan head that lingered and left great lacing. Dry and roasty with a coffee note. Long finish. Medium body.

Growler at RBSG Grand Tasting. Pours a dark brown with no head. The aroma is roast, cocoa, bread. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, dry finish, decent.

Big & black with a nice choco moose head. First taste is smooth and easy, surprising for a beer rated near 7%. Yes, this brew hides its alky content well. Never leaves the realm of good sweet stout. Fun. Well mannered and civilized. For sure this is one of my favorite beers at this place. One of the better sweet stouts I’ve had in a while, its right there with the well behaved lower alky versions. Yummy, good job 4 bros. Slight bite of old wet partially burned campfire wood for a pleasant finish. Good overall beer experience!
