dark brown with red hues. I don’t get a lot of aroma on this one. There is some blackberry in here, grape, some citrus. it’s dense and the finish is clean with a slight bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours amber with small beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is cocoa and roast. Medium body, cocoa, roast, bready malt, light dry finish, good.

Draft - Nice dark toasty notes. Clear Amber with a decent beige head. Light dark malts, some toast and nutty notes.

Draft at the source. Opaque brown color, bright beige head. Aroma if light citrus and roast. Taste is fruity coffee. Interesting.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a very dark brown color with a medium sized creamy tan head that left good lacing. The aroma was dry, roasty, woody and coffee. The flavor was bitter, dry and roasty with wood and coffee notes. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.
