Sampled at the brewery. Dark brown and opaque. A little funk in the aroma. Big dark malts. Big dark fruit flavor to begin. Yeast is complex. Belgian plus something else. Plums and dark fruit. Interesting beer. Shared with Dave and the gang.

Draft at the source. Clear maroon color, tan head. Aroma of vinous plums. Taste is sweet plums and cherries. Nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, spice, pure sugar. Medium body, spice, yeast, caramel, boozy finish, good.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was nutty, malty and a bit musty. The flavor was dryish, nutty and malty with a presence that was reminiscent of body odor. Medium length finish. Medium body. Odd but ok.
