This semi-sweet pear cider is named after Civil War general Alfred Pearson. A lightly carbonated sweet cider with a yellow hue, which is slightly cloudy. This is a pear cider with a flavor of earthy pear and definitive bitter, buttery notes. Alfred's tarts off sweet and buttery yet ends with a quickly-diminishing satisfying bitter flavor. A nice blended depth that brings you back for another taste.
Note: Depending on the batch, this perry varies in ABV but usually is between 10 - 10.5%

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with small frothy white that lasts. The aroma is pear skin and honey. Thin, pears, apple skin, light dry finish, very good.
