Red Lager (Urbrau)

Light rust and some raw grain. Decent for style, and easy drinking enough, though a faint paint acrylic taste would push me away from ordering a stein of this. Amber pour with decent head. Light tangy finish. Watery consistency. Tap at brewpub.

Draft at the source. Clear golden amber color, white head. Aroma of bready biscuit. Taste is caramel and bread.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a red-caramel color with a huge fluffy orange-white head that lingered forever and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was malty and sweet with caramel and hints of dark and golden fruit. The flavor was tangy and yeasty with a moderate fruity hop presence, a mild bitterness, table sugar and toasted caramel. Medium length finish. Medium body and fairly smooth. Pleasant and easy drinking - can finish a liter of this one quite easily.
