Our flagship beer. Amber-colored with a malty nose and a touch of Noble hops, Penn Pilsner has caramel and toffee notes as well as toasted, nutty hints. Penn Pilsner is a very well-rounded, balanced, and flavorful lager beer.

Bottle. Bready malt aroma. Straw color with a large off-white head. Sweet grainy malt flavor wit a subdued grassy bitter finish. Light crisp body. Nice balance between the sweetness and hops.

Toffee. Caramel malt aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Mildly sweet barley malt and lightly bitter hay hops flavor. Nice easy drinking beer.

Pours gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sour summer fruit aromas. Sour strawberry and cranberries...uh, nope.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours a light amber color with small head that disappates quickly. Still has fairly nice carbonation and some lacing. A little sweeter (pretty well balanced sweetness) and a little darker than your typical pilsner. Kind of in between a pilsner and an american amber.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of maniac. Thanks! Pours a clear copper color with a one finger head. Average head retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted malts and musty apples. Taste is grassy hops, toasted malts, apples and other fruit notes, light caramel. Medium bodied.

Pours blonde, white head. Aroma is grainy, malty and floral. Taste, hoppy floral, leaves a sweet/bitter mouthfeel, almost a mix of honey and bitter floral hops. Aftertaste has a lingering soapy and metalic / bitter hoppy feel.

I may have gotten an old bottle because this one just seemed off the whole time. Light herbal notes, and sweet malts in the aroma. Didn’t taste very good, either. I picked up some crisp hops but they were overshadowed by an odd off flavor that annoyed me to the end. Smooth bodied. Meh, no thanks.

12 oz bottle....not much head-light beige...golden orange body with a touch of cloudiness...smells of fresh clean malts and yeast...body is watery and light, a sour malt presence, but easy to drink....a smidgen of bitter throughout...nothing special...although its well balanced

Bottle. Clear copper/amber pour. Aroma was malt, with some sweet/spice in there. Flavor was malty, with bitterness to it.
