This pilsner poured a dark cloudy yellow colour with not much of a head even after a vigourous pour. To the nose...slight paint thinner aroma. If you got through that, vinegar, dough and a very small scent of spice. First taste was very mettalic flavoured but after that the malts came through. Slightly bitter to the tongue, a little thick feeling aswell. The palate was hoppy and a little bitter to the end.

"Borrowed" a bottle of this beer from my father... It has a medium sized quickly descending head. It has a slightly cloudy amber colour and a rather sweet smell. It also tastes quite sweet with perhpas a hint of honey. Not really a great beer, but it is certainly interesting enough.

Your average pale yellow american beer. Some hops or bitter linger finish. I didn’t seem to notice anything real special about this brew. I’m gonna have to give this a rerate down the road. I may have been to buzzed to properly rate this. On tap at the north park deckhouse in robinson.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy golden-amber color with a medium sized creamy white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with bread and sour malts and phenol . The flavor is overly sweet with sour tangy malts and just a hint of fruity hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. This used to be a pleasant beer but is no where near as good as it used to be.

Light amber body with a medium off-white head. Sweet light malt aroma with some caramel. Sweet caramel flavor with some light grassy hops in the end.

On draught at Heinz Field. Amber color with a medium thin beige head with decent retention. Cannot comment on lacing as it was a plastic cup. Lightly malty aroma. Medium-bodied and sweet with malt and caramel flavors. There is a touch of hops character too. The finish is mostly sweet but has touches of bitterness here and there. Pretty average all around.

Clear copper to orange color with white head. Aroma of malt and a bit of noble hops. Nice malt flavor and I detect a grapefruit note as well both sweet and sour. Very nice Pilsner.

Amber pour with a light head. Flavor is fairly reminiscent of a Molson Canadian with a bit more balance and malt body. Sweetish character with malt goes nice and is a departure from what I expected in a Pils.

I don't really see this as a Vienna style lager - as does the previous rater - it certainly seems to be a pilsner, but it does have its eccentricities. It has a wonderfully complex and spicy aroma - more so than any pilsner I've had. But after smelling it, the first sip was a bit of a disappoinment. Not much body, and alot less complexity in the flavor. I'm guessing there may have been some dry-hopping, but very little hop flavoring. It finished as a simple and sweet lager (perhaps causing a tendency to see it as a Vienna style) that wasn't as refreshing as the Lone Star that I sampled in the same sitting.
