Our hopped-up American IPA. A very robust, amber-colored, hoppy beer made with a blend of nine different American hops. Bright citrus notes, layers of spicy and earthy tones, and a great fruit character make this a world class American IPA. (aka Penn IPA)

Bottle. Pours a clear orange color with a large white head. A big sweet bready nose. The flavor is sweet citrus, lemons, big bready, very malty sweet. Ok.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy Amber orange color. Thick creamy beige head. Clinging lace. No aroma at all. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor. Doughy malt mixed with resiny hops. Not that good. Out of balance.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a glass. Hazy light orange with small off-white head. Aroma is grassy hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and some medium-bubble lacing. Taste is grassy hops and bitter hops.

A bottle from ruffenenck in ohio. Funny I got to go to ohio to find bottles of local beer, go figger. Smell like IPA and it has the look of a cloudy ipa but its not as thick or viscous looking as I was expecting. Yes, big bitter kick on the first taste, then it goes into this bitter lingering thang in the back of my throat. Wew. Yes, fools you at first, comes on rather citrus fruity then the big dull IPA thing kicks in. Finish is just that, long bitter dull ipa linger. I was hoping this was some kindah milder IPA from the name, you know, biergarten, but its just a big dull rototillen IPA. Yes, mouth coating bitter chewing on green grapefruit rinds ipa. Not impressed.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-apricot color with a large foamy orange-tan head that lingers forever and left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet caramel, bread, pine and fruity hops. The flavor was bitter, astringent, sour and had notes of honey, caramel, bread, pine, resin, floral hops and hot peppers. Long finish. Medium body. Decent.
