Can from my wife: pours slightly pale hazy. Aroma is spicy, citrusy. Taste is citrusy, lightly spiced. Nothing special. Very drinkable.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 1/8/2018. Pours very hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, orange peel/rind, coriander, pear, red apple, peppercorn, pine, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with good strength. A bit too yeasty/spicy aromas. Taste of big lemon, orange peel/rind, coriander, pear, red apple, peppercorn, pine, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange peel/rind, coriander, pear, red apple, peppercorn, pine, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Touch of lingering resins after the finish. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a very good witbier. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. This felt way too bitter/hoppy for the style, but still really tasty stuff. Very well balanced between all flavors. A very enjoyable offering, and good style example otherwise.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong wheat, lemon zest, clove. Medium body, yeast, citrus, clove, light dry finish, good.
