It might be the jambalaya, but my tasting of this isn't good. It's flat and tasteless. Will retaste after my taste buds return.

Tap at Avenue Pub, New Orleans, LA, USA. Pours deep red, with fine whitish foam. Aroma is malty and earthy. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium bitter, though mixed with a consistent malty feeling. Final is average.

On tap at Chafunkta, pours a clear reddish amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry bready malt and a hint of dry toffee. Flavour is dry and malty, with bready malt and a hint of toffee and maybe some red fruits. Clean and drinkable. Nothing special, as per the style.

Sample at Hattiesburg fest. Clear reddish amber color, off white head. Aroma of toasted caramel. Taste is very malty caramel. Nice.
