Bottle from Bottle Baron. Black body with a dense tan head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of liquorice, chocolate mousse and cocoa powder. Flavour of dark chocolate, Black Forest gâteau and blackberries. Medium body with a smooth, creamy texture. Soft fizz. The alcohol is well hidden but, for me, this is bordering on too sweet.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie, consumed at Camping Trois Château Eguisheim, Alsace, France, Wednesday 22nd June 2016. Pours as black as yer ’at, it’s a shark eye black little number with a tan head (light tan). This is really thick and a little hot in the mouth. Getting lots of bonfire toffee, it’s bitter at the sticky edges, enjoying this, it’s not a stellar beer but it’s V.good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
