Draught @ Villi Wäinö, Kalevankatu 4, 00100 Helsinki, Finland. [ As Malmgård Villi Wäinö Onni ].Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, caramel, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a a long duration, caramel, toffee, hay, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150722]

Draught @ Villi Wäinö, Helsinki
Pours clear copper colored with a small head. Aroma of bready malts, some grassy hops and hints of caramel. Taste is malty and slightly bready with hints of grassy hops. Finish is dry and bitterish with hints of bready and nutty maltiness. Decent bitter, but nothing special here.

Draught at Villi Waino, Helsinki. Colour is clear copper with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Toffee, sweetness, bitterness, caramel and malts.

Aroma has lots of bready malt and some toffee. Rather light flavour has nuts, bready malt, some caramel and toffee. Thin palate. Too flat stuff.

330ml draught as the house beer at Villi Wäinö in Helsinki. Just one single patch at the surface of a pretty, golden-brown body. Aroma of leafy hops and earthy malts. Well blended taste of hop resin and caramel malts. Herbal bitterness to the finish. Pleasant (Sunday pub crawl in Helsinki, 06.02.2011).

On tap at Villi Wäinö in Helsinki, July 2010. Amber with a small white head. Fruit, grass, caramel and some bread. Very easy to drink, good but not brilliant.

Draught at Villi Wäino. Poured a darker golden body with a medium sized persistant white head that stayed for awhile (and listened). The nose was light and soft, sweet, and agrumey-hoppy and the taste wasn’t far off. Light again, very light, filled (not to the top) with aromatic hopiness, sweet honey notes, some yoghurty notes too. Aahh if only it was a bit stronger.

Draught @Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Amber in color, with a frothy head. Caramel aroma, flavor is caramel and fruity. Easy and refreshing.

Draught at Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Hazy pale amber, small head. Dusty orangey caramelly nose and flavour. fairly light bodied with crystallic chewy malt. Restrained dusty hops leads to a mid-bitter finish. Pleasant and wel balanced, like an English cask ale, but kegged. Would gain from more softness and depth, which can be easily solved by cask conditioning it.
