Welcome to the future. Our collective human consciousness, or Ghost in the Machine, has gained a tolerance for hops beyond what mankind has ever known before.
This Double India Pale Ale is the necessary outcome.
Brewed with obscene quantities of hand-selected Citra hops from our favorite farm in Yakima Valley, WA. Expect pungent grapefruit aromas and flavors, tropical fruit, and less harsh bitterness than most IIPAs.

Bottle at Matteo abode, thanks to LKS, 31/10/16. Lightly hazed orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange pith, spruce, pine, bitter citrics. Taste comprises caramel malt, grapefruit, orange pith, straw, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop bittering finale. Decent enough easy drinking DIPA.

Draft at Churchkey for the The Southern Craft Brewer Night: Burial, Fonta Flora, Great Raft, Parish & Wicked Weed. Poured a hazy light orange color wit ha small off-white head. Aroma was heavy juicy hop notes. Lots of grassy and earthy character to this one. Flavor was a touch boozy, lots of juice and grass notes.

Comes on with very nice orange peel and a hint of green onion. Cloudy pour with good head and lacing. Pretty clean finish. Nice package in terms of aroma but could use a little more malt body. Tap at meridian pint.

Manifested on 2/15/2016. Thanks Drew.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a hazy golden orange color with a thin wisp of a white head. Light lacing spider webs nicely around the glass.
The smell starts off with a sharp sweet to crisp and bitter onion and grassy hop oils leading into bitter grapefruit pulp and rind. Light pine swarms in underneath.
The taste takes on the bittersweet orange rind persona well. Bitterness accustoms itself well into the aftertaste and finish. Mostly a wet bittersweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sipping quality about it. Carbonation runs fairly light allowing a bitter juicy citrus quality to hit my tongue.
Overall, this confirms the idea that great beer can be found anywhere. Find this gem, and youβll find your Diamond in the rough in the South.

Crowler thanks to Rob. Pours a turbid orange with medium frothy white head that lasts leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit, dank, pine. Medium mouth, juicy, citrus, dank, light bitterness, very impressive.
