Keg at the brewery, 29/01/16. Rich orange amber with no head. Nose is tarte fruit esters, piss tinged straw, on the turn melon, funky citric shreds. Taste comprises musty wood, decaying apple core, strong acidic bite, vanilla, fruit balsams, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sharp acidic rise in the close leading to a moderate throat scrape. Ok but over acidic and lacking balance.

Bottle shared at Mechazilla event. Tart nose with cherry and gooseberry. Also some light vanilla and a bit of brett as it warms. Starts out with quite a bit of bold tartness and dry berry notes but as the finish comes in the barrels reign in that tartness and some light oaky, vanilla notes come out. Nice quiet finish that lingers and slowly fades away.
