22oz bottle pours out a hazy golden topped with a small head. Nose is tart fruit hibiscus. Taste is more of the nice tartness funk and a nice fruit touch.

Bottle - thanks Felipe! Pours crystal clear deep orange, small kinda fizzy white head, dissipates quickly leaving not much. Aroma is tart lemon, oak, funk, barnyard, Brett, some other citrus notes. Flavor is medium tart and lghtly funky, lemony. Refreshing but not overly complex.

Very slightly hazy copper coloured body with bronzed highlights and no movement at all. Aroma of sour grapes, vinegar, alcohol, yeast, bread, gueuze and quite a bit of brett - nice and puckering. Light to Medium-bodied; Sour grape flavour at first with a light vinegar bite that fades into a very pleasant and super subtle malt character that fades to a handful of fruits and ends with a touch of lactic sugar and even more brett. Aftertaste is very properly balanced between sour and subdued malt notes with a good fruit taste throughout and an elegant layered set of flavours that you don’t see too often in beer. Overall, a very nice offering, which aside from any hype and reputation, I wish I could have said that this is overrated, but it truly is a classy beer that is nice all-around, especially an interesting take on the style, and yes, definitely worth searching out for - I’ll probably have another the next time (and everytime) i’m in Portland. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Zupan’s Market (SE Belmont Street) in Portland, Oregon on 10-March-2015 for US$4,79 (tag on back stating 13304) sampled at home in Washington on 24-April-2015 a week before heading back out to the great Rose city.

Bottle. Nose is huge peach and apricot, mango, oak. Lovely fruity nose. glowing dark orange with a bit of lace. Very tart flavor, apricot and peach mainly, so much so that it seemed peaches might have been added, orange, a bit of candy. Really good and fun.

Bottle - Tart citrus, white grape and acidic notes. Clear gold with a thin frothy white head. Light citrus acidity and some soured grassy notes. Nice, especially for the ridiculous price.

Bottle split at Bruce’s, thanks to our host with the most, 06/03/15. Lightly hazed golden topped with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is tangy fruit, light acidity, veinegar notes, must, funk, citric peel, dirty lemon. Taste comprises more vinegar strokes, citric wash, lemon rind, straw, must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough offering but more sour wild than a saison, quite a bit of vinegar and acidity kicking about in this one.
