Originally conceived as a Theory-exclusive, draft-only pour during a festival long ago, this mega-adjuncted stout is pure candy bar goodness in an over-the-top kind of way.
Speaking of over-the-top, this batch of Modem Tones was aged in Elias Butte 20-year bourbon for 32 months. After finding the perfect blend, we added Toasted Coconut, Macaroon Cut Coconut, Dark Roast Coffee, Dominican Cocoa Nibs, Ugandan Vanilla, Peanuts, Hazelnuts, and Almonds. It really, really is like a candy bar. Ultra decadent.

Sweet, syrupy and caramely with some toffee, burnt brown sugar, coffee, vanilla, coconut, nutty notes and hints of oakiness. Quite intense and sweet. Perhaps a bit past its prime.
