At the behest of one of our Founding Fathers we harken back the stalwart and hearty stouts of yore with this full-bodied and chewy Oatmeal Stout. Dark malts roll across the tongue and tingle the tastebuds with an array of flavors ranging from espresso to dark chocolate to acai berry and leave behind a rich and velvety mouthfeel. It tantalizes, it toys, it tickles in a way no old dude in a Tri-Corner hat ever could... or could he?... that’s for you to know and us to steer clear of, weirdo.

(tap) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small beige head; aroma of jam, honey; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey during the SAVOR Week 4 Hands / Against The Grain tap takeover. Provided by GenDV138, thanks Donnie! Aroma was dark chocolate, roasted malts. Light oat notes. Creamy, roasted malts. Pretty tasty.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey during the SAVOR Week 4 Hands / Against The Grain tap takeover. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, cream, roasty notes. Tastes of dark chocolate, light roast, some malt. Medium body with a dry finish.

Draft at Churchkey. Black color, brown head, see pic please. Aroma of earthy coffee and cocoa. Taste is earthy chocolate. Very tasty.

Growler: Ruby-cast deep brown with a small, light brown head. Oat and drak chocolate/cocoa, dark fruit aroma. Lightly bitter chocolate, oatmeal, soft berry flavour. A little on the dry side, but still, a pretty nice little stout.

Draft. Chocolate, oatmeal, malt, and dry grass/ash aroma. Black with moderate head. Lightly sweet chocolate, oats, malt, and mildly bitter dry grass/ash flavor. Decent body. Pleasant.
